The Best 100 Musicians was just updated.  The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Led Zeppelin still claim the top spots followed closely by greats like Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones.  The classical composers continue to fight the good fight but cannot seem to take the leadership from the classical rockers.  To check out the complete list please go to the official Best 100 Musicians Page.

Make sure to stay tuned as next week the Best 100 NonFiction Books list will get updated on Monday.  We may well have another surprise update as well.  I guess its not so surprising when I tell you about it…

It was recently brought to my attention that the Best 100 Musicians list was never updated.  After checking into the problem I found that the list was in fact updated on the 23rd of last month.  Unfortunately no one ever uploaded the new list so it never got posted.  That list is now up and all updates are up to date with two more updates coming the following two Mondays.  Next up is The Best 100 Video Games followed the next Monday by The Best 100 Works of Art.

When all of the updates in this round are complete, several new lists are scheduled to be added to the site.  Once all of the new lists are up the scheduled updates will resume every Monday starting back at the beginning with the Best 100 Actors list.

Stay tuned for further announcements as to the topics for the new lists.

Due to unforseen issues, namely me getting sick over the weekend and part of last week, there was no update today.  Anyone who sent in reviews will also notice that those did not post on Monday as they normally do.  Have no fear.  We are not looking at another drought of no updates for several months.  The update is already underway and is scheduled to happen next week.

The good news is that to make up for the delays, not one, but two list will be updated next Monday.  The Best 100 Movies which was supposed to go today as well as the previously scheduled Best 100 Musicians will both be updated on Monday the 6th of September.

All comments will be posted before the next full update.

It has been brought to my attention that our Musician review form was not working properly.  The bad news is that any reviews submitted in the last few weeks will not be posted unless they are resubmitted.  The information submitted through that form is lost forever.

The good news is that the form is now fixed and all reviews will be posted in a timely manner.

Elvis fan’s seem to have taken to their keyboards as the votes flood in.  The Best 100 Musicians update is being run this week and the fans are doing Elvis proud.  Long live the king.
